The bar on board A380-800

The bar in Emirates A380-800It stretched from wall to wall, a decent room-size affair. I would have preferred that they'd made the toilets a little larger, which they've made smaller than usual. In the morning (NYC time) I drank coffee there, and watched how it had transformed into a waiting room for just-woken passengers lining up to use the toilets.

The flight was comfortable. How wide the wings of this aircraft! Looking from the window on the upper deck, it felt like being on a small spaceship.

I will tell in another post regarding the service which was so sweet on this sector, but so lacking in substance. And the remarkably friendly staff on Dubai–Bangalore.
